Insurance policies
Every policy with its cover, not only its end date
Record the insurer, type, policy number, dates, premium, deductible and coverage limit of each policy, with the risks covered and the exclusions. Add the territory, roadside assistance or a replacement vehicle, the broker's contact and how many days ahead you want to be reminded.

A banner lists the policies that expire soon, and a counter shows how many end in the next 30 days. A second counter shows the vehicles with no active policy of a type that is compulsory in their country, and turns red when there are any.

Reminders
Renewal reminders that create themselves
Every day, Fleet Hero creates reminders for insurance policies, registrations and driving licences that expire within 90 days. A reminder is marked notified when its notice period starts and overdue when the date passes. Reminders are shown in Fleet Hero, in the reminders list, the calendar and on each vehicle; they are not sent by e-mail.

Will Fleet Hero e-mail us before a policy expires?
Reminders are shown inside Fleet Hero, in the reminders list and calendar and on each vehicle, not sent by e-mail. To get a list by e-mail, schedule the insurance expiry list report to colleagues, which comes with the Professional and Business packages.
Can it remind us about technical inspections and vignettes?
Yes, as reminders you create. Choose the type, the due date and how many days ahead you want to be reminded. The reminder is marked overdue when the date passes.
How does Fleet Hero know which insurance is compulsory?
You define your insurance types, each with a country and a compulsory flag. Fleet Hero then counts the vehicles that have no active policy of a compulsory type for their country.
How far ahead are renewal reminders created?
Reminders for policies, registrations and driving licences are created up to 90 days before they expire. You set the notice period for each policy and each registration.
Do we keep the history of old policies?
Yes. Expired and cancelled policies stay on the vehicle with their dates and cover, next to the active one.
Which package includes insurance and renewals?
