Driver management: licences, logins and who drives which vehicle
Fleet Hero keeps a profile for every driver with licence and CPC expiry dates, linked to the same employee record HR Hero uses. Plan who drives which vehicle in a calendar, and give drivers their own sign-in to Office Hero Connect.

One record per driver, used everywhere
The same person appears in the directory, the calendar, trips, alerts and reports, so nothing is kept twice.
Driver profile
Licences and qualifications with a countdown
Each profile holds the licence number, categories, issuing country and expiry, the CPC expiry and the tachograph card number. The licence and CPC dates carry a badge that counts the days down, and the contact details and assigned vehicles sit on the same page.

Assignments
Who drives which vehicle, and when
The assignments calendar shows every vehicle and its drivers by day, week or month. Drag an assignment to move it, mark a driver as primary or co-driver, or switch to a list. Each vehicle and each driver keeps its history of assignments.

The driver is part of every trip and alert
Select a vehicle on the live map to see its assigned driver, with phone, e-mail and licence for users allowed to see driver records. Trips, alerts and reports carry the driver too, so you can see who was assigned to a vehicle on any day.

Driver logins
Give drivers their own sign-in
Create a driver's Office Hero Connect login from the profile, by invitation e-mail or with a temporary password that must be changed at the first sign-in. What a driver sees in Connect depends on the apps your company uses; with HR Hero, for example, their shifts, clock-in and leave.
- An invitation link stays valid for 7 days
- Drivers with a login can message the office in team chat
- Ending the employment in HR Hero removes the person's portal access

How do we add a driver?
Each driver is linked to an employee record that is marked as a professional driver in HR Hero, and you pick that employee when you add the driver in Fleet Hero. With trackers that read the driver card from the tachograph, drivers can also be created from the cards the trackers report.
Does Fleet Hero rate or rank drivers?
No. Fleet Hero does not grade drivers. Harsh acceleration, braking and cornering can raise alerts where the tracker reports them, and the alerts show the vehicle and its driver.
Do drivers need an app?
No. The tracker reports on its own, so Fleet Hero works without anything on the driver's phone. Drivers who should see their own information sign in to Office Hero Connect in a browser; the Connect phone app is coming soon to the app stores.
What happens when a driver leaves?
Set the driver's status to terminated; past assignments and trips keep the driver's name. Ending the employment in HR Hero also removes the person's portal access.
Will we know when a driving licence expires?
Yes. The directory counts licences and CPCs that expire within 30 days, each profile shows a countdown, and Fleet Hero creates a reminder for every licence that expires within 90 days. Reminders are shown in Fleet Hero, not sent by e-mail.
Can we see who drove a vehicle on a given day?
Yes. The assignments calendar and each vehicle's assignment history show it, and every trip records the driver who was assigned when it started.
Can Fleet Hero tell who is driving from the tachograph card?
With a tracker that reads the tachograph, the vehicle panel on the live map shows the card in the tachograph, and Fleet Hero lists cards that are not yet linked to a driver. Without such a tracker, the driver comes from the assignments calendar.
Which package includes driver management?
Drivers and the assignments calendar are part of the Professional package, at €14.80 per vehicle per month, and of Business. Both include the SIM and mobile data.
