Office Hero Connect gives the people around your company their own sign-in. Employees clock in, request leave and open HR documents. Customers see what they owe, suppliers see what you owe them, and both can message your staff. Everything is read live from HR Hero and Finance Hero.

Access
Invite people from the records you keep
Admins invite portal users from Users & access in Fleet Hero, HR Hero or Finance Hero, by picking the record the login belongs to. The invitation link is valid for 7 days, and the screen shows whether the e-mail has left.

Messages
Conversations with your staff, in the same threads
Portal users write to your staff from the Messages page, and your team answers from Fleet Hero, HR Hero or Finance Hero. Customers and suppliers see only your staff in their contacts.

- Open conversations refresh about every 15 seconds
Whistleblowing
An anonymous reporting channel in the portal
With HR Hero Professional, your company gets a public reporting page in Office Hero Connect. Anyone can report a concern without an account, anonymously or with their employee ID, and your designated handlers manage the case in HR Hero.
- Five categories and up to 1,000 characters per report
- A reference number and a four-word status passphrase
- A private follow-up conversation with the handler
- Encrypted at rest, with a hash-chained audit trail

Authenticator-app sign-in
Portal users can add a second sign-in step with an authenticator app and printable recovery codes.
Signed-in devices
Everyone sees where they are signed in and can sign out the other sessions.
One login, several companies
People who work with several Office Hero companies switch between them after signing in.
Nothing lost on time-out
When a session expires, a sign-in window opens in place and anything typed is kept.
Lists your way
Choose columns, sort and filter, pick a light or dark theme and use the command menu.
Account deletion
People can request deletion in the portal or on a public page and get an answer within 30 days.
Help articles and tickets
Everyone can read Office Hero's help articles, and employees can open a support ticket.
Tickets are answered by the Office Hero support team rather than your own staff, no notification is sent when they reply, and companies cannot add their own articles.

What is Office Hero Connect?
It is the portal your company gives to the people around it. Employees use it for time, leave and HR documents; customers and suppliers see their balances and message your staff. It runs at connect.officehero.io.
What does Office Hero Connect cost?
It is included with HR Hero, which brings employee self-service, and with Finance Hero, which brings the customer and supplier views. Onboarding, training, skills, goals and the whistleblowing page come with HR Hero Professional. See the packages and prices.
How do people get access?
An admin invites them from Users & access by picking their employee, customer or supplier record. They open the link within 7 days and choose a password; for employees, HR can set a temporary password instead.
Can we decide what each customer sees?
Every customer contact sees their balance and their five most recent invoices, with those falling due soon shown separately. The full invoice list and monthly statements are switched on per contact by the Office Hero team when the invitation is created.
Can customers pay invoices in the portal?
No. Customers pay the way they pay you today, and your team records the payment in Finance Hero. The portal shows invoices on screen, without invoice PDFs; monthly statements open as PDFs once they are switched on.
Is there a mobile app?
The Office Hero Connect app for iOS and Android is in testing and coming soon to the app stores. Until then, the web portal works in a phone's browser. Read about the apps.
How is portal data protected?
Messages (by default), bank details and whistleblowing reports are encrypted at rest with your company's own key. Files open only after a virus scan, through links that expire after 15 minutes. More on security.
Which languages does the portal support?
15, including Macedonian, Albanian, Croatian, Bulgarian, Romanian and Serbian in both scripts. Each person picks their own. The translations are machine-made, and native review is in progress.
What happens when someone leaves?
Ending an employment in HR Hero removes the employee's portal access automatically, and an admin revokes a customer's or supplier's access from Users & access. Their records are kept.
