Integrations
Integrations that work today: trackers, bank statements, rates and webhooks
Office Hero reads Teltonika GPS trackers, imports MT940 and CAMT.053 bank statements, takes daily exchange rates from the ECB and the NBRM, shows Google Maps and OpenStreetMap layers, and sends fleet alerts to your own systems as signed webhooks.
Everything on this page works today, with its limits stated. Planned connections are listed separately as coming soon.
01Connections
What connects to Office Hero
Five connections in use today, each described with what it does and where it stops.
GPS trackers
Teltonika trackers, read in full
Fleet Hero reads Teltonika trackers in Codec 8, 8 Extended and 16, and turns each numbered reading into a named value with the right unit: fuel, AdBlue, voltages, warning lamps and fault codes. Trackers wired to the tachograph also report the driver cards and current activity, and the driving times when they read the tachograph directly. Our team installs and configures the devices, and the SIM card and mobile data are included in every Fleet Hero package.
- In use: the FMC003 for cars and vans, and the FMC650 for trucks
- Tachograph data through TachoCAN, K-Line, ALL-CAN300 or FMS wiring
- Only trackers registered to your company are accepted
- Remote configuration of 9 Teltonika models by our team
- Other tracker brands on request
Bank statements
MT940 and CAMT.053 statements, matched to invoices
Download statements from your e-banking in MT940 or CAMT.053 format and upload them to Finance Hero. Lines that were imported before are skipped, and automatic matching pairs payments with invoices by amount and invoice number, giving each suggestion a High, Medium or Low confidence.
- SWIFT MT940 and ISO 20022 CAMT.053
- Duplicate lines skipped on every import
- One click books the payment, its allocation and the journal entry
- Statements are uploaded as files: there is no direct connection to the bank
Exchange rates
Daily rates from the ECB and the NBRM
Finance Hero fetches the European Central Bank's euro reference rates on every TARGET business day and the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia's denar rates every day, weekends included. Each rate keeps its source, and rates you enter by hand are never overwritten.
- ECB and NBRM rates, fetched automatically
- The source on every rate: ECB, NBRM or manual
- Realised and unrealised exchange differences from the same rates
- A warning for a stale rate instead of a wrong total
Maps
Google Maps and OpenStreetMap layers
The live map offers OpenStreetMap, Google road and Google satellite base maps, with a live traffic layer and your geozones drawn over them. Google map and traffic tiles reach the browser through Office Hero's own servers, and OpenStreetMap tiles come from the OpenStreetMap servers. From any vehicle, open its position in Google Maps, Apple Maps or OpenStreetMap.
- Three base maps and a traffic layer
- Map settings saved to your account, on every device
- One click from a vehicle to its position in a map app
Webhooks
Fleet alerts sent to your own systems
Add an endpoint in Settings and subscribe it to fleet alert events, or choose it in a Fleet Hero alert rule. When an alert fires, Office Hero posts a JSON message with the alert type, severity, rule, vehicle plate, driver, position and a link back to the alert. Every call is signed with HMAC-SHA256, so your system can check that it came from Office Hero.
- Events: alert.fired, sent again marked as escalated when an alert gets worse, and alert.cleared
- Headers X-Officehero-Signature, X-Officehero-Timestamp and X-Officehero-Event
- HTTPS addresses only, plus your own custom headers and an on/off switch
- Fleet alerts are the only events sent today, in the Fleet Hero Business package
- Settings does not show the signing secret yet: ask our team for it
02More
Smaller connections, and what comes next
Also connected
Standards and file formats that Office Hero works with today.
Authenticator apps
Two-step sign-in with an authenticator app (portal users today, staff with the Manager app), using the TOTP standard that common authenticator apps follow.
SCIM for portal accounts
An identity system can list, look up, deactivate and remove Office Hero Connect accounts over SCIM 2.0.
Portal accounts only, not staff; a new account must match an existing employee, customer or supplier record, groups are read-only, and our team issues the token.
Vehicle import from CSV
Paste a CSV file with up to 500 vehicles. Rows with errors are reported one by one, and the good rows are still created.
PDF, Excel and CSV exports
Fleet reports export to PDF, Excel or CSV, finance reports to CSV or PDF, and HR and Finance lists export the rows you select to CSV.
Between the Office Hero apps
No exports needed: the apps share their records.
One person record
A driver in Fleet Hero is an employee in HR Hero, and the same person signs in to Office Hero Connect.
Customers and suppliers in the portal
Customers see their balance and recent invoices, and suppliers see what you owe them, straight from Finance Hero.
One account for every app
Staff sign in once and move between Fleet Hero, HR Hero and Finance Hero with the app switcher.
Timesheets feed driver working time
Working-time findings for drivers come from HR Hero timesheets and appear in Fleet Hero's tachograph section.
Coming soon
Planned, and not available yet.
Public API and developer portal
A documented interface and a developer portal will let your own software and integrators connect to Office Hero.
Coming soon
Single sign-on
You will be able to sign in with your company's own identity system.
Coming soon
SMS notifications
Fleet alerts will also be sent as text messages, next to the notifications in the app and by e-mail.
Coming soon
Office Hero Track on Google Play
Office Hero Track will show your fleet's live map on an Android TV, paired with Fleet Hero by a short code.
Coming soon
What does not connect yet
There is no public interface for your own software yet, and Office Hero does not exchange data with other accounting or HR systems. Data leaves Office Hero as PDF, Excel and CSV files, bank statements come in as files, and webhooks carry fleet alerts only.
04Webhooks
From a fleet alert to your system in four steps
-
Step 1 Add an endpoint
In Settings, Webhooks, enter your system's HTTPS address, subscribe it to alert.fired and alert.cleared, and add any headers your system expects.
-
Step 2 Choose the alerts it receives
An endpoint subscribed to these events receives every fleet alert. You can also choose the endpoint in an alert rule, in the step that sets who is notified and how; that rule's alerts then reach it even without a subscription.
-
Step 3 Check the signature
With the signing secret, compute HMAC-SHA256 over the value of X-Officehero-Timestamp, a dot and the raw body, and compare the hexadecimal result with X-Officehero-Signature.
-
Step 4 Act on the event
Open a ticket or notify a team when alert.fired arrives, and close it again when alert.cleared follows.
05Questions
Integration questions
Not answered here? Write to [email protected]. A person from our team in Skopje replies, Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 CET.
Which GPS trackers work with Fleet Hero?
Teltonika trackers, such as the FMC003 for cars and vans and the FMC650 for trucks with a tachograph. We supply, install and configure them: trackers are sold from €65, and installation starts at €49 per vehicle. Ask us before you buy other hardware.
Can Office Hero connect directly to our bank?
Not yet. You upload MT940 or CAMT.053 statements from your e-banking, and Finance Hero suggests matches with your invoices.
Can our own software read data from Office Hero?
Not directly yet: a public interface for developers is coming soon. Today, data leaves Office Hero as PDF, Excel and CSV exports, and fleet alerts reach your systems as signed webhooks.
How do we check that a webhook came from Office Hero?
Recompute the HMAC-SHA256 of X-Officehero-Timestamp, a dot and the raw body with the endpoint's signing secret, and compare it with X-Officehero-Signature in constant time. Ask our team for the secret, because Settings does not display it yet.
Where do the exchange rates come from?
From the European Central Bank and the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia, fetched automatically. Rates you enter by hand are never overwritten.
Can we import data from our current system?
Vehicles import from a CSV file of up to 500 rows, and bank statements from MT940 or CAMT.053 files. Other data can be brought in by our team during onboarding, as custom work.
Can staff sign in with our company's identity system?
Not yet: it is coming soon. Today, an identity system can look up, deactivate and remove Office Hero Connect accounts over SCIM 2.0, within the limits listed on this page.
