01Three apps

Each app uses a sign-in people already have: staff use their Office Hero account and portal users their Office Hero Connect login. A TV pairs with a code.

All three apps are in testing. They are not listed in the public app stores yet, so this page has no download links, and details can still change before release. Until then, your team works in the web apps: Fleet Hero, HR Hero, Finance Hero and Office Hero Connect.

A centre button switches between the three apps, each with its own tabs, and the menus show only what your role and your company's plan allow.

Vehicles move on the map in real time and group into clusters when you zoom out. Tap one for its status, live sensor values and the driver on the tachograph, follow it as it drives, or replay where it has been.

- Route replay for up to 48 hours, played back at 0.5× to 10×

Add a vehicle by scanning its VIN with the camera: Office Hero's own decoder fills in the make and model, and the photo is not kept. Each vehicle shows its warning lamps and fault codes in plain language, next to its documents, and alerts reach you as push notifications.

Managers approve leave and timesheets, see who is in today and look up an employee. Staff clock in and out from the phone, and a punch made without signal is stored and sent when the connection returns.

The same Office Hero Connect login works in the app, and each person gets the tabs their account type and permissions allow.

06Office Hero Track
A live fleet wall map for Android TV
Office Hero Track runs on Android TV and Google TV. After pairing, it shows your fleet until the display is revoked.

A strip of counters shows how many vehicles are moving, idle, stopped and offline, next to a clock. Below it, the live map, a fleet list and a ticker with the most severe active alerts update as the vehicles move.

- Pins coloured by status, turned to their heading and faded when the data is stale

The TV shows a short code, and a manager types it into Fleet Hero on the web or into Office Hero Manager. From then on each display is configured remotely, and changes reach the TV while it runs.

Safety
Read-only and limited to the groups you choose

A TV gets its own read-only access and sees only the vehicles in the groups chosen for it, and nothing until its settings are saved. It asks for no Android permissions, and no map key is stored on it.

When will the apps be in the app stores?
There is no public date yet. The apps are in testing, and this page will link to the stores once the listings are live.
Can we use Office Hero on a phone today?
Office Hero Connect works in the phone's browser today, for employees, customers and suppliers. Your staff work in Fleet Hero, HR Hero and Finance Hero in the browser until Office Hero Manager is released.
Which devices will the apps run on?
Office Hero Manager and the Office Hero Connect app are built for iPhone and Android phones. Office Hero Track runs on Android TV and Google TV and is controlled with the TV remote.
Do the apps need separate accounts?
No. Staff sign in to Office Hero Manager with their Office Hero account, and portal users sign in to the Office Hero Connect app with their portal login. A Track TV has no personal account: it is paired with a short code and can be revoked at any time.
Do the apps work without a connection?
Partly. In Office Hero Manager, a banner shows whether the internet or the server is unavailable, and screens opened recently stay readable while the app is open. Clock-in punches in Office Hero Manager and leave requests in the Office Hero Connect app are stored on the phone and sent later. There is no full offline mode.
Will fleet alerts reach our phones?
Once Office Hero Manager is released, alerts can also arrive as notifications on the phone, and a tap opens the alert. Today, alerts reach your colleagues in the web apps and by e-mail. See fleet alerts.
What do we need for Office Hero Track?
An Android TV or Google TV screen with an internet connection, and a Fleet Hero user who is allowed to manage displays, to pair the TV and choose what it shows.
